Oh Ruby (formerly Reba)! This 2 year old, spayed female Pit Bull Mix came to the shelter in mid March as a stray, and gave birth to her TEN puppies just a few days later. She raised her little ones, and they have all been adopted into their forever homes. Now it is RUBY'S TURN to finally be babied in the way she deserves.We won't lie. We love Ruby. She is an amazing dog with an amazing heart. She is ALWAYS happy to see you, and is as gentle as can be. She is a perfect housemate, walks like a dream on a leash, and will do just about anything to please her person. She is a little rotund right now (at 62 lbs), but now that she is resuming regular activity after heartworm treatment, should drop the extra weight in no time at all.
